*Boxed Dinners (mac & cheese, hamburger & tuna helper)

*Canned Meat (stew, tuna, chicken, etc.)

* Personal Care Products (dish, laundry, bar soap,

Healty Eating Food Items

*Nonfat cooking sprays and low fat items

*Whole grains (bread, oatmeal, etc.)

*Fresh, frozen, or canned vegetables(low sodium or no sodium)

*Fresh, frozen, or canned fruits (low or no sugar)

*Eggs and high protein foods

*Skim milk and sugar free drinks

While the pantries try to obtain as much of the needed food supplies as possible from Second Harvest Gleaners Food Bank, the items listed above are often not available through this source. Each of the food items are wanted and needed by families.

The non-food items cannot be purchased with food stamps, making them costly essential items for families to purchase on their own.
